A B C D E F G...and the rest of the alphabet makes for an abecedarian or "almost abecedarian". Historically, the abecedarian was a book to teach children their abc's. Now in the hands of artist and writer it becomes a basis for fun exploration in art and writing. Please join Maryann Riker and Nancy Scott, two creators, one through the visual assemblage of mixed-media art and the other through the poetic and literary assemblage of words for a humorous and sometimes thought-provoking foray into their perspective of the alphabet.
